I keep coming across this artists work.

I was browsing a friend of a friend's website and a couple of her pieces reminded me again of her work. I absolutely love the images of the octopus girl. There is something about them that gives you the feeling of a beautiful mermaid that has come under a spell and is living a sort of Snow White and the seven dwarfs kind of life. The art is clean and skillfully colored in a way that makes me think of an old Polaroid photo with a bit of sunlight leaking in. Like an old memory I'm fond of but a little sad because I know that I wasn't really there.
