New SSD drive

After suffering for so long with a ageing Mac and ever demanding software, I upgraded to a Samsung SSD drive last week and did a clean install. It takes a few software tweaks to get the Trim function working and the fans to not go full ball all the time but its so easy a n00b can figure it out. Wow what a difference! It honestly feels like a new PC even if I have halved my storage. All it really means is that I will have to move video source files off my main drive and onto our Network Attached Storage array. And thats an easy bit of work for a massive gain.SSD Drive Speed test
