Long Board Part 1

Fun

As a new project I decided to make a longboard skateboard from scratch. As usual, the internet is a treasure trove of somewhat usefull and not so usefull information whaich basically revolves around the following 4 steps

  1. Glue 2 plywood boards together
  2. Cut out a shape that resembles a longboard
  3. Paint and attach trucks
  4. Ride it like a pro

I started off in Bunnings finding the last piece of plywood and then waiting around to get it cut in 2 pieces so I could transport it home on my scooter by squatting on it. Not the most comfortable o elegant ride but it worked.

The two boards

Next I set about gluing the two sides together.

Spread that glue
