Trail walk

I decided to start the day off with a walk in one of the nature trails near our house.

At 6:30 am I dragged the family out of our warm beds and into the car to sped a good 30 min exploring the fire trail and side paths.
I know it’s something everyone says but nature is fucking awesome.

The trees. The ferns. The weird rocks with moss and lichen growing on them like ancient unexplored ruines.
It was a brilliant start to the day until we got back to our car and found it broken into by some numpty.

Nooooooo!

I was about to go postal when my son sticks his head into the car and then looks at us and says “ This will make an awesome story to tell at school”
My rage dissipated and was displaced by a sense of gratitude that he was able to see a good side to the whole situation.

Anyways long story short…., always look on the bright side of life :)
